I’d love to learn this on the kalimba, but don’t know how to figure out tabs on my own.
this song is overall so special to me, and when i actually decided to play life is strange, and realized the song was in the opening scene, it immediately became my favorite game. the song itself features the ‘american girl’ as an archetype for romanticization of reality vs the actual reality, and a feeling of displacement from something that isnt real and idealized. the song overall hits extremely hard for me as the daughter of an indonesian immigrant and an american dad. i never really fit in in either of my homes, and i spent all my time obsessing over the mundane details of life to comfort myself.
I really liked this song. I’d love to learn how to play it on the kalimba=_

I use music to help express my emotions and have always had a special fondness for this particular piece. I have been able to play it on the piano for a while and would like to play it on my kalimba as well.
I’ve been looking for this song for so long, even tried finding the notes myself, but I can’t seem to get it right. Hope someone will manage to get it down! It’s quite literally my theme song, I lwk relate to almost every line so I thought it would be good if I learn how to play it on my favorite instrument!
