Blessed to Love

Among the love songs I repeatedly listen, play, or sing, the one that really has a special place in my heart is Rascal Flatts’ Blessed the Broken Road.

Why? Because this song has saved me. During my biggest heartbreak, this song has calmed me. When I decided to build walls in order to not let love in anymore, this song reminded me that I should use those pain to believe more in love.

Through this song, I’ve learned that those lessons I mistook for love will bring me somewhere and God uses those to take me where I’m supposed to go. At the end of the day, the song reminded me to never stop believing in the power of love. That sooner or later, God will send me the right person at His perfect time. Just be patient and trust His plans because true love waits.
