  Through watching tutorials and youtube videos, also tabs from KalimbaTabs.net

• What inspired you to learn how to play the kalimba?:

  The sound is so calming and beautiful. It helps me relieve my stress

• What was the first piece you learned?:

  Happy birthday

• How many instruments do you play and what are they?:

  I also know how to play the guitar but I don’t have a guitar anymore

• Which famous musicians do you admire? Why?:

  Yiruma, because of his classic River Flow in You song. I love it so much. It’s the second piece I learned in my kalimba.
  Kalimba musician - Sandrah Araja, Robin, Sam, Brix, Sheyshey, Jennina, Eva Auber - they are all great kalimba players

• Do you have any hobbies or interests outside of music?:

  Watching mukbangs in YouTube, playing with my son

• If you could give someone learning the kalimba a piece of advice that helped you the most, what would it be?:

  To not put pressure and yourself while learning, just enjoy the process and keep practicing. Always wipe the kalimba clean as well so it won’t immediately get rusty, take care of it so you can use it for a long time.
