• How did you learn to play kalimba? Did you have a teacher?:

  I dont have a teacher when iam starting to play kalimba, i just watched some kalimba tutorials on youtube.

• What inspired you to learn how to play the kalimba?:

  When someone posted a kalimba cover of tears in heaven on facebook, it reminds me of my father who passed away last 2016. That song was played during his burial. From the time that i heard that cover it inspired me to learn how to play it and when i got my 1st kalimba iam really inloved with its calming and relaxing sound.

• Which famous musicians do you admire? Why?:

  April Yang, i really admire her because she is so great in playing a kalimba.

• Do you have any hobbies or interests outside of music?:

  Aside from playing kalimba i dont have any hobbies. When i feel sad or having a tiring day kalimba is the 1st thing i grabbed in my room to play with because i feel so calm and relaxed everytime i hear its magical sound.

• If you could give someone learning the kalimba a piece of advice that helped you the most, what would it be?:

  Have faith and trust the process.
