My favorite love song is Daddy’s Girl. God took my father’s life too early. Since I was a child, I always feel jealous to my friends and classmates every time I see them with their father. Their father would always fetch them after school, laugh with them and kiss them while I’m there, feeling envy and alone. I cannot clearly remember what’s my papa’s face. I want to see him, I want to hear his voice, I want to hug him, I want to share my problems with him, and just be with him all day. Just a “father and daughter” bonding. But sadly, I would never experience that. That’s why when I first hear the song “Daddy’s Girl”, I cried. The lyrics is superb.. it made me miss my papa more. It slaps me the reality that I will never see my papa again. That I will always long for him, for a father’s love. :< This song is not a typical romantic song but a love song for a daughter's love to his father. Actually, 14 days from now, on february 16th, I'm gonna be on my legal age and for the past week, every time I listen to the song, 'Daddy's Girl', I always imagine myself dancing with my papa. The lyrics from this song which are: "Our souls are forever tied together, through tears and all the laughter, you love me like no other", is just so meaningful. Indeed, a father's love to his daughter will always conquers all, even in his next life. Truly, I will always be my Daddy's girl.
