I have so many favorite love song and it is impossible to name a BEST one. But one song that I have loved since the first time I heard is Perfect by: Ed Sheeran.

Ed wrote this song to define and describe the love he carries for his fiancé Cherry Seaborne, according to me. He also meant to “tell the world what love truly means and how everyone deserves true love someday.” The song is a blessing for those are into deep thoughts and music. It signifies how love can create a beautiful difference in a person’s life and makes it worth living.

At the end of the song’s video, we see a picture of Ed and a girl from his high school prom which he keeps with himself because he is still in love with her. Cherry was his high school sweetheart and they came a long way to become partners and get engaged which shows, no matter what, love finds a way.

The reason why this song is my favorite is because:

• First, I love the sound and tune of Ed Sheeran’s angelic voice.
• Second, each and every line he sang is just so meaningful that one cannot stop thinking about the happy moments associated with the person they love and care about. Just like which connects us to Ed’s life and his journey with Cherry. The song is made to listen with all your heart and forgetting about all the sorrows.

I think it’s meant to be a message to people that don’t love themselves saying that even though they don’t, there will always be some person or people out there that appreciate you for who you are. 

The song is just P E R F E C T.
