I love When I Dream About You by Gracenote. First, since I was a kid, I always hear this kind of song when I am with my daddy riding in his jeepney. He loves to play love songs every time he’s driving. He was a jeepney driver when he’s still alive. That time, the version that I hear was the version from Stevie B, the original singer of this song. Since in our generation, we cannot hear 90’s love songs or later love song generation. You can hear this kind of song when you tune in to a radio every Sunday but not most of the time, or if you will search it online. When I started to love OPM bands, Gracenote’s most familiar song before was this song – When I Dream About You Stevie B but they performed it as a cover only. The first time I heard this song, it reminded me of the time when I was riding the jeepney with my dad playing this song. That’s the first time I knew this band. Then, later on, they release the cover version as their single. As time goes by, I am loving their version of this song. Aside from this love song is a good song, they brought the song to this generation where everyone can still appreciate love song in a different genre. Though it’s not their original, since they add a different flavor to it, you will get to love listening to the song.
