If I’m James dean, you’re Audrey Hepburn(acoustic cover) by Sleeping with Sirens is my favorite love song.
The song and the band was introduced to me by my ex-boyfriend, but that’s not the reason why its my favorite.
I came to love the band and thier songs, especially this love song because I just love the message that it conveys. Everytime I listen to it, I always feel grateful because I know the feeling of falling in love and being loved. I mean, not everyone knows how it feels—romantically at least, but surely, everyone deserves to be loved.
This song made me realize that hurting, being betrayed or lied to while loving someone is something I should be proud of. Because, I know that when I love, I love truly and passionately that when I get hurt in the end, I have no regrets. I’d like to think that it’s their loss, not mine. They made me learned my lessons when they hurt me and that’s enough reason to be happy. They are molding me into someone stronger and knowledgeable , so that when I meet “the one”, I’m capable of protecting him, loving and cherishing him wholeheartedly.
Actually, this song is called a cursed song by a facebook page because they say and based on the people who experienced it too, when a couple make this song their theme song, they would break up someday. For me who experienced it too, don’t believe in this myth. What I believe is that being in a relationship is a choice to make, so is breaking up. We always have a choice. Its just that sometimes, we chose the wrong one. So I’d like to take this opportunity to tell everyone that when you found the person that you think you can’t live without, that seeing them makes you feel like you’re home, and loves you despite of any circumstances, always choose them. Choose them everyday. Because losing them out of pride, won’t make you happy.
