  • I was 16 years old when I started playing kalimba.

  • No, I'm self-taught. I also have YouTube so there's no need for a teacher.

  • Wayback 2019, as I was scrolling through Facebook, I encountered a video of a person playing kalimba in front of his dog. I was amazed by the sound and the uniqueness of it, and that's when I started to be interested in kalimba.

  • The first song I practiced on kalimba was Still the One by Shania Twain.

  • I play two instruments, a kalimba, and a ukulele.

  • The musician I admire the most is Ed Sheeran. His songs are marvelous, it's just out of this world.

  • I do diamond painting and I am also a binge-watcher.

  • The most simple advice I'd give to beginners who are trying to learn how to play the kalimba is to not quit. You may do a lot of mistakes, but remember that mistakes are proof of your progress.
