In this chaotic times due of the pandemic, music truly makes our hearts beating in gladness and keeps our souls alive. That thought makes me happy. To tell you a story, I began to love music when I was in grade school. Our uncle thought me to play the piano but I became more fond of the violin. But when quarantine happened, Kalimba went more popular in the social medias so I started to get interested with it too. Since, I don’t have the means to have one myself I downloaded a Kalimba app to try learning it.
On the other hand, I’ve done my research and I found out that Kalimba was also called as thumb piano. It is made of wood and it has tine metal to produce sounds. It really is a small instrument yet beautiful. No wonder during this pandemic, many have tried playing it. Which is a good way to make quarantine worthwhile. Because we all know how boring it is to stay home not doing something. As of me, quarantine is good if you now how to manage your time.
In conclusion, quarantine became an opportunity for me to improve my violin playing at the same time learn new things such as Kalimba. But I am still praying that may we overcome everything. I believe that everything happens for a reason. I know God wie everything fine in His time just trust in Him and have patience.
