How To Read The Tabs

-Notes inside a parentheses (ex: (135) ) are played together (slide/glissando)
-The tabs/notes posted on this site are designed to be played on kalimba, but you can also play it on other instruments like: piano ,flute, recorder, ocarina , glockenspiel, clarinet, xylophone, otamatone, and etc. Simply use our online kalimba tab converter to convert the tabs/notes to SOLFEGE (do re mi) or letter notation (C D E).
I found this version to be extremely useful, especially as the mp3 uses the actual notes but on a piano. That makes it easier to hear and match to a kalimba for learning and practice purposes. My personal preference in terms of the transcribing for a kalimba is the version with notes rather that numbers. The numbers may seem easier, but it’s limiting for a beginner and locks their understanding of music into one instrument, ie, the kalimba.
For this particular piece, I just love the arrangement! It’s taken the original theme and added flair with the off beat rhythm. It’s up-beat and fun. Thanks for putting it out for all of us to enjoy.
Is the mp3 the same as the tabs? I’m a bit confused.
