BEFORE YOU PLAY – a few things to know:
This is only the first half of the song, I’m working on the full version but it will take some time. I may also add in the instrumental parts at some point if anyone asks for them.
This song moves fairly quickly and has quite a few difficult chords, so try to get the hang of it before going full-speed. If even going slowly is too hard, the melody is always the first note in the chord, so feel free to ignore the other notes inside parenthesis for easier playing.
I created a new type of notation, the curly brackets {1} to indicate optional notes. If you don’t want to play them, the song will still sound the same, but they can add a bit of extra fanciness. If you see an optional note inside parenthesis with a non-optional note (3°{7°} ), play these at the same time for the intended sound.
Also, square brackets around multiple lines simply means that everything that lines up inside vertically is at the same time, like in piano sheet music.🎹 If you don’t sing along, this doesn’t matter too much, so don’t worry.
[ {1°} {1°°} (2°{7°}) (3°{5°}) 2° 1° 5 ]

[ {oh-ooo——ooo——ooo} ]
For this particular song, I like to lay my kalimba flat on a table or hard surface and play with my other, non-thumb fingers in order to go faster and more accurately. This also reduces pain under the thumbnails. However, feel free to play however is comfortable for you, of course.
Good luck!
